TaxCloud not free any more

Perhaps I'm not using tax cloud right. But I just got a notice saying it's not going to be free anymore. Do you have a step by step guide on setting that up correctly so I can continue to use it for free? Or is there a report I can pull to show how much I've received in taxes?

If you follow the instructions in the email they sent you and you use Taxcloud to submit your sales tax payments to your state, it will continue to be free. It should actually make things a lot easier with paying your state sales tax.

If you'd like it to be free but don't want to submit sales tax payments through them then you need to go to Settings->Payment Options and disable Tax Cloud payments. This will disable tracking of exemption certificates and it will no longer use the rental's tax categories to calculate sales tax automatically (same with delivery and staffing fees). You'll have to make sure the Taxable flag on the rental's prices is set correctly as well as on the Delivery Methods.
