Tax % keeps changing when a customer submits a quote. It should be 6%

When viewing customer leads the tax% is always wrong. Our state sales tax is 6%. I.O. pre-populates varying % IE. 5.54 etc. How do I lock-in a fixed rate of 6% sales tax?
The same problem
Go to Settings->Distance Charges. Click the State tab, set your State, Tax Rate, and mark 'Override Tax Cloud'.
The override flag will force it to always use that tax rate. Also, you'll want to make sure all of your Settings->Prices are marked as Tax=Yes and also Settings->Delivery Methods.
If for whatever reason the tax rate isn't calculating right please provide the Lead ID so we can investigate.
