Is there a way to make your deposit not come out of the balance? We are wanting to hold on to the deposit till after the event but we dont want it taxed or to be a line item.

Not at this time. The only way to do it is to make a rental item called refundable deposit, and after the event, refund the money and remove the item from the lead.

Is that something that you think you will be implementing in the future? It seems counterintuitive to make our customers select an extra option when booking for themselves?

It's not likely in the near future. A majority of the inflatable industry does not take a refundable deposit, so we've only had a small handful of customers interested in this, and it will be quite a large feature to impliment.
