Pricing Issue

Hi,


When i click into a rental or an option and change the quantity, i keep finding out that the pricing has disappeared and wont let me save till i fix it.


Can you look into this. I've been working with FL inventory. I didn't check the other cities but Samantha said she was having an issue where pricing wasn't showing up and she was working with NY.

This has been the case since the beginning. It is an issue that we would like to resolve. We just haven't come up with a good solution. Currently, we clear the box to intentionally force you to run and update. All of the pricing information is in the database. When you change the quantity, we don't know what price it should be. Now it may seem obvious that we just multiply, but that isn't always the case.


For instance, a client may be pricing by quantity and reducing the price per item the more items are chosen. Additionally a client may have entered a discounted rate for 2, and when adding a third, we don't know if they want us to use the same discounted rate or the rate from the database.


What would you suggeset?

Sorry, my mistake, I wasn't clear in my email. The new problem that I'm experiencing is when i change the quantity in the inventory - not when i'm doing a quote...


i'm working on changes to inventory quantities in FL and everytime I change it, i get that problem.

I think this was a problem caused by us trying to add a location to your account. Most likely, we lost your prices for those items and you don't realize it until you edit the rental to change the quantity. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with changing the quantity. We are working on fixing the issue caused by adding the location.

yeah, i don't think it has to do with changing the quantity, i just noticed it then.
