Permanetly remove an Item from IO

I have sold several items and want to delete these. They at one time were part of an event but they are marked inactive but I want to permanetly remove them.

You cannot delete the Rental completely unless you remove it from every lead it is on first (Otherwise this would cause the totals to be incorrect and mess up your rental history). If the item is inactive, customers will no longer be able to book new events with the item. You can still remove the "inactive" item from a lead if it's a future event and you don't want the customer to book it.

I am just trying to drop my rental units below 100 since I am 5 over and don't want to pay another 100 dollars as I am not adding new inventory soon.
