Overbooking Only Showing on 1/2 of the affected Leads

Solved

One of our sales reps, Danielle, had a phone conversation with IO support last week regarding overbooking. She was told that if two leads are affected by an overbooked item, the red text warning will only show up on one of the leads? Please confirm if this is being addressed. We would have to cease using IO if this is going to be an ongoing issue. It is slowing down our business to a near halt trying to rectify Leads that show all availability one moment, having a client pay for the items, only for us to then realize afterwards that there was an overbooking issue. This issue is critical.

The way this works currently is if a lead is created that includes items already reserved the items on the new lead will show in red and the items on the reserved lead will not change color. Our developers are currently working on a feature that would show the originally reserved items in a different color so the overbooked item will show in red on the new event and the event that caused the overbooking will show the item in another color. This will be released this week and will likely only be available when viewing a lead and not while editing. We'll let you know of any updates to this feature, let us know if we can do anything else for you.

Our sales team could be on the phone with a client, creating a lead, but won't know if anything is reserved/overbooks until they hit save? is that correct?

No, When you are filling in a new lead if you set the event start and end date/time and click "update" next to save and email it will show items that are unavailable in that time frame as red. If you change the time frame you'll need to click update to see which items are available in the new time frame. This way they see availability before they click save.
