limited face paint kits(3), all that can be booked an an inventory item and an option item

I offer a combo #1 service that is an inventory item with a limit of three. the customer selects facepaint and balloons that are linked in quantity as an option that is required.

Facepainter is also an inventory item that customers can book - I limited this to three also.

The conflict system isn't showing a conflict if 3 combo # 1 s are booked ( that requires 3 facepaint kits) and then a facepainter is booked.

How can i do this - I also want to limit my balloon makers that are also an inventory and option items too under combo services

The items need to be the same. The main Facepainter item needs to be used as the option in the combo. To do this, go to the options & PL tab of the combo. Click edit. Click 'Load rentals as options'. Then find the item and use it and remove the other face painter option you created.

the only issue now, is the facepainting is charging an additional 125.00 to the combo ...see lead 554331

this one was booked during our transition of renaming the combo(formerly entertainer)

once i try and edit the combo to include the option of balloons and facepainting- the facepainting now charges an additional 125.00 since it is an inventory item.

They have booked 2 combos, so will the facepainters "lnked to quantity", register 2 facepainters?

ons best fix this, because I need to do the same with my glitter tattoos.

You have 2 options:

1) Set up the whole deal as a Package under Settings -> Promotions and Fees (This is probably the recommended way of doing this since "Packages" will be a category on the quote form in the near future).

2) Or do what you're currently doing, but in order to fix the pricing, create a child item for the facepainter with a price of $0, then put that one with the combo #1.

The later, I believe, will accomplish what you're trying to do, however, it's not the recommended way of accomplishing a promotional package.

think i figured it out, can you have a look at lead 740620, why is glitter tattoos charging 125.00 when it is suppose to be free?

and why is it when I book 3, combo #1 that that the quantity for facepainting changes but the balloon making does not? also, why is package cobo # 2, and not combo package # 1..

There is a limitation I did not consider when I told you to use Promotions and Fees: each lead can only contain one Package at this time. I apologize for not realizing that this is a situation you probably see more often than I expected.

As far as the quantity of balloon making not changing: you only have a quantity of 1 in your settings, so it's "maxing out" the ability to link the quantity.

how does that explain the glitter tattoos coming up for 125.00 but not the balloons on combo #2

Filter your leads by date range, then click "more filters" and select specific inventory.

The options on this lead both have "Combo Packages" as their price category. You can quickly open up the settings of a rental item or option by clicking on the name of it in a lead. Obviously, the price is on the Pricing tab of the rental's settings page.

so, how do I stop the item of balloon maker and glittery tattoo to be a zero priced item? I want that item to be available at the 125.00? as a zero priced item, they can gebook that inventory item for 0.If a package offers an item for free, why do have to make it a zero price item?

1) If there is a package that applies to this lead, it will apply as a discount on the "Package/coupon" line of the lead. It does not apply directly to the line item itself. Many user prefer this because it shows the customer gets a great discount.

2) In order to have a "zero priced item" and a "$125 item" that are the same item, you need to go to the item in your inventory and create a child item on it. This way, you'll have 2 items (a parent item and a child item) with different prices. Their availibility will be linked because of the parent/child relationship. In this case, it doesn't matter which one is the parent and which one is the child, but I'd recommend making it the same convention for all the services.
