Hover Descriptions on items

Under Consideration

I would like to see a small pop-up window for the description on an item when someone is in the lead mode. Having that feature would save having to open another window or tab simply to see what is included with an item when a client calls in or a worker is building a quote.

Do you have an example for what kind of information is in your descriptions that someone might need while booking?

Absolutely. We not only offer single items, but packages, since we offer audio/visual items as well. For instance, we offer DJ packages that it would be nice for the salesman to hover over to see the details of what is included while he is speaking to the client. Currently, we have to right click and open in a new window, wait for the information to load, then search for the item that we would like information on.

Are you aware you can click on a rental item and it will load that rental item in a new tab?

Yes, we are. The hover idea was just for ease of use more than anything.

We will look into it. Here's another suggestion. Have you considered making your package include the rental items as options? You can for instance have a rental named Basic DJ Package and include other rentals in it. For instance that package could require 1 Basic DJ Speakers, 2 Disco Lights, etc. That would then keep track of your inventory properly also.

We have considered that, but with the sheer number of items we have available, splitting everything off would sky-rocket our item numbers high, thus charging us more.
