Hard copy contracts

I've had dialog about this before but need clairfication. I just received a hard copy contract from a client. They red lined some of our verbiage. I'm accepting their changes. I entered today's date in the contract received section of the contract tab. The contract still says unsigned. Will they receive emails stating that their contract isn't signed? When I go to print signed and unsigned contracts will it be seen as signed or unsigned?

If the contract received date is set on the contract tab of the lead, then it is assumed you have a physical copy received (and contract reminder emails will not go out). The digital contract will still show as unsigned, but when you visit the contract/payment page it will say 'Physical contract received' in the Signature section of the contract.
