Flagged Leads not current

We have several flagged leads prior to 2016 that was part of our conversion process. Several of these leads have the flag (!) showing but we are unable to check or uncheck them to get the flag to remove.
How do we remove those flags prior to 1/1/2016, or is that something you need to do on the server side?

Those flags are due to overbooking of inventory and cannot be removed. They shouldn't be showing on the overview. Also, they should not be an issue in the future because I'm assuming you will not overbook. Send a specific lead ID if you think I'm missing something with this.
