Editing Quotes

Need Answer

We have the editing quote option set to "30 minutes".

My understanding was that then anyone that edits and resubmits a quote within 30 minutes will end up with the same lead # and IO will not create a new one.

Is that correct? If so, it doesn't seem to be working for us and duplicates the quote into a new one

See leads 6154149 6154153 - these quotes were completed 6 minutes apart.

The secondary issue is that (this was listed in a previous support ticket), quotes submitted by customers are set to email out immediately but they are not.


The "Customer - Recent Quote 2 (customer created)" wasn't sent for either lead. There are plenty of other lead examples as well that it has not been sent to ?

I will have a developer take a look at this to see why it creates a new quote and let you know an update as soon as I have one! Do you have any other examples of the emails not going out. The email entered on these ones is showing "unsubscribed"...probably when testing something out before. So if you have any regular customers not receiving the first quote email let us know. Thanks!

This one is because on the original quote the recent quote email went out...so it didn't on this one. Once the quotes are being edited correctly...and not creating new ones this shouldn't be an issue.

These were actually completed from two separate quote pages by the looks of it so the ^ logic is flawed.

Is there any update on the editing issue?

The editing situation is still being worked on...when it is fixed the email situation should be fixed as well. If you come across a lead that doesn't have multiples and they don't get an email let us know
