Cant send Contracts, Cant send Email

I am having trouble figuring out why this is an issue. I am trying to email a contract but the status won't let me send it because it's non-contracted?? Then the email won't even send, though my gmail is connected. Then if i just view the contract, i get an admin notification saying the client wouldnt be able to view it.

It looks like this lead was in Hold Quote status from the color of the lead. This status is not set to generate the contract which is why you'd get this error message. You can go to Settings -> Statuses to change the Hold Quote status to "Set Contract Book Date (if not set) when Lead is set to this Status" and "Lead has Contract Out to Customer". These settings will allow you to send the contract to your customer in this status. You could also change the leads status to one that generates the contract. Let me know if you need anything else!

What is the definition of Contract Book Date? Why would I have a contract date be of the hold/quote and not the actual contract? And what about my email issue? Is it related to this issue?

The contract book date lets that status set the book date when a lead is set to that status. I thought that this setting generated the contract but looking into I found that "Lead has Contract Out to Customer" generates the contract and "Set Contract Book Date" really just sets the book date. Sorry for the confusion. It looks like there is a separate issue with your email, I would go to Settings -> Email Settings and revoke then re-grant permission to Gmail. Let me know if you still notice issues with the email after doing this.
