Alerts not coming through to my email account

I have an email address entered and alerts set to active to send emails for selected reasons. Not one email has come through to email account; not even in the spam box.

If you look at the log tab of any lead, you will see that the alert emails are being sent out. I dug deeper and found the following. It means that you entered the wrong email address. Google says your email address doesn't exist.

said: 550-5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist.

Please try 550-5.1.1 double-checking the recipient's email address for

typos or 550-5.1.1 unnecessary spaces. Learn more at 550 5.1.1 qt6si5264536pbb.91
