Adding accessories at no cost

We currently have some accessories that are rental items. Is there a way to add these at no cost instead of charging for them and then adding a discount?

When you are the inventory page in settings there is a spot that says more options....There you can click on "Convert to accessory" You can change any rental to an accessory here. Then you can edit the price and link the accessory to rentals. The discount would need to be done under "Promotions & Fees"

Thanks, but that just converts the item to an accessory. We still need it active as a rental item as well.

Another way to do this would be to add a required accessory to the rental with a negative price to counteract the price of the item being used as an accessory

Thanks, already tried adding the rental as a required accessory with a promo to add on free, but the system wont apply the discount to the item if its an accessory. If it is added as a rental to the same order, it does seem to work.
Essentially, I am trying to add a table onto our carnival games so that when we use the vehicle packslip, the total amount of tables showa grouped. As it is now, they show up in two different spots.
