Email lead to another sales rep

When working on a lead, if we want to get help from another sales rep, we email the lead to each other using a template titled "Coworker - Leadview". It works pretty well, but there is one small thing I'm hoping you can help with. It autofills with the customer's email address, which will certainly end up with an internal email being sent to a customer at some point. Is there any way you can edit that email template to leave the "To" field blank?

You could leave the email field in the lead blank and add the email to the customer notes and that would have the email box leave the To field blank by default but it would always be blank. That would be the only way to have the To field default as empty.

Ok, that's not going to work. I was hoping you could adjust some code or something in that particular template so that it wouldn't auto fill an email address. Not a big deal though; hopefully it will just be amusing when we accidentally send an email to a customer asking them to help with pricing for their event.
