How do you notify customers of changes to the required SPF record?

While investigating some recent "missing" emails from InflatableOffice I noticed that the required SPF mechanisms have changed since I last read the documentation. Do you mention these changes in announcements, or should I just poll that page for changes?

I skimmed back through recent announcements and the closest thing I found was:


  • Emails: Improved handling of email bounces by automatically trying with a different server


Was I supposed to infer an SPF record change from that?

No, wasn't expecting you to infer that from the notes. The change just happened yesterday and I am preparing a notification email.
