Save Credit Card info

Is there a way to save credit card info when they pay with a card online so it can be charged for future use or lost items?

Your current settings do this via Authorize.net. But we don't save the whole card number. We only save a token at the time of the first payment that allows us to recharge the card. The customer has to have made a payment before with that card. If they have, when you go to the contract tab of the lead and go to add a payment (similar to how you would add a cash or check payment in), one of the options will say "recharge card ####"

Is there a way to remove the card from a specific customer profile so future payments do not give the option to "recharge saved card ####"?

No, there isn't a way to do this at this time.

How does it actually charge the card? Once I say charge card ending XXXX will it go process it for me?

I tried running a customers card from 7/18 but Customer Information Manager not enabled.

It's enabled on our end. You'll have to check with Authorize.net to see if you have it on with them.

Ok I fixed it in Authorized.net but now it says it has an error. Is this something you can see. I will look in Authorize.net as well for declined transactions.

I wonder if the token is valid for 30 days maybe?

I looked up the details and the error is 'The card code is required'. Most likely in your authorize.net setting you have a setting turned on to always required the card code or CVV number. You'll have to turn this off.

In Authorize.net, go to Account->Payment Forms->Form Fields and remove the required box and save.

Yes that was it. I unchecked required and it went through.

This is why I love IO. Fast responses. I do think you guys should be more active in the EPA group on Facebook. The ERS guys are all over that page.

I would like to be more active, but they warn us when we are. ERS' activity is really mostly from their customers. ERS simply responds to their customers. We would be allowed to respond, but they don't like us starting posts.

Does this recharge card #### option only come up if you use authorize.net or any card processing company you support

i use payjunction and have the recharge ability but it doesnt show up in IO when i go to the payment section on the contract tab.

At the moment it only works with Authorize but that's likely to be supported with PayJunction in the future.

Great!!!!!!!!!!!! that would be awesome would save us having to give our staff access to the payjunction site to rerun cards.
