we often charge extended rental fees and use the "quick add item" to add this information, have never had a problem doing so. Today, when I typed in all caps "30% EXTENDED RENTAL FEE" and did not enter a dollar amount yet - after I saved it changed it to lower case and automatically put in $534. Not sure why it is suddenly doing this.

Sorry this question got missed. We made a change that allows previously entered Quick-add items to be re-used if the name matches. So what happened was it matched a previously created item and used it's price because you did not enter one. If you enter the amount that you want then it will override the previous amount.
