Video Preview of the release

New Features:

  • IO Phone: You can now set extension numbers for sales reps and have an auto-attendant greeting play when a call first comes in
  • Rentals: You can now share your inventory with other IO customers to allow for easier subcontracting
  • Leads: You can now see a rental item’s note when viewing a lead

  • Rentals: When editing a child item, you can now unlink it from the parent.
  • Rentals: When editing an item, you can now add a child to it (under Advanced section)
  • Rentals: When saving a copy of an item, you can now choose if you want them to use the same price. Linking the price together makes it so if you change the price of one item it will affect the other.

  • Rentals: When setting the price of an item, you now have the option to price it like another item. This will link the prices together.

  • Rentals: You’ll now see a list of items when a price is shared between items.
  • Rentals: You can now convert rental items into accessories easily
  • Wordpress: Featured items can now be configured through a WP widget (useful for non-IO themes)

Bugs fixed:

  • IO Phone: When texting from a event or shift tab of a lead, it will now use your io phone number
  • Delivery Tool: Saving a warehouse shift without assigning a worker now works
  • Delivery Tool: Fixed issue where removing assigned worker on a shift would delete the shift
  • Contracts: Fixed issue with non-active contracts getting URL inserted and not hyperlink to contract
  • Wordpress: Fixed issues with pop-ups looking poorly in wordpress sites on quote/contract pages
  • Email Settings: Fixed issue where worker SMTP settings occasionally would overwrite company SMTP settings
  • Leads: Fixed issue where $0 discounts would not act like a discount when editing lead later
  • Leads: Empty names on a fee will now be changed to Unknown for the name.
  • Promotions: Fixed issue with new/edit not working on some accounts
  • Languages: You can now change the language of upsell buttons that say "Add for Only"

The new notes feature on rental items is great! Any chance you can make it show up as we're entering items to a lead? Right now it's not visible until the lead is saved.

Whoops! That is kind of the point isn't it. Yes we will soon.

Any updates as it relates to the ability to forward IO phone call to the drivers? VS the sales rep?

The rental notes will be available when editing a lead for our next release.

Regarding IO Phone forwarding, yes you should be able to forward the calls to the driver based on the filter's you've setup.

For example, have your 'sales rep' filter only after for quote/hold/contract status and make a driver filter only for confirmed events. So if Jim is a driver then you'd make a filter form confirmed events with Jim as the worker. Save that filter and in the phone schedule say to only ring Jim if the phone call matches that filter.

Awesome!! Thank you for the quick response.

For those of us who do not currently use your employee schedule, is there any chance of adding an option field on the delivery page that would allow me to assign a driver to all leads on said vehicle (to forward the calls to)? Or maybe we would have to have a filer option on the top of the delivery page...

My goal is to auto-forward the calls to the drivers that are delivering that customers equipment. Which in turn will streamline the communication and enhance the customer's overall experience!

I understand that not all solutions are as easy as they sound but this feature would be incredibly valuable. I am willing to pay an additional fee to have this added to my account as I understand everything takes time.

Cheers,

That is currently possible already, but you would need the worker add-on to make use of it as you described.

This update has been pushed out to show notes when editing a lead.

Hey! You have no idea how excited I am. We currently have the worker add-on. As I previously mentioned we just don't assign workers per job. How do I proceed?

You would have to filter to the person, but if that person was on the event as a laborer instead of driver, it would call him still. Additionally there is nothing currently to forward only during the delivery day/time. I think it sounds like we need to do a few more things before it is ready for you.

Got it!

In theory, the person wouldn't be attached to the lead as a driver or laborer. We would have to "bulk" attach the driver once the units have been saved on the delivery schedule. ??

Currently you can set a lead Event Date filter for Next 1 Day and a Worker: name of worker on shift. Then apply that to the phone rules. It will then ring the worker if they are on a shift anytime the customer calls in the day of the event. That's the best we can do now, but we will work on some improvements.

Got it. Thank you for the information.

Just to clarify- I would have to assign a worker to each shift first? As I mentioned we do not currently use your method of tracking guys and hours.

Yes. There is no way for us to know which worker to call otherwise.

Thank you for the quick response.
