For the auto delivery- is there a way to make it limit how many trucks its auto fills?

Why send 4 trucks when you only need two?

Also, for the system to be more accurate-, when an event is at a park or most commercial venues we must arrive within an hour or so to pick up the equipment. At this time there doesn't seem to be an option in place to prevent the system from scheduling a park pickup at 10pm when the event is over at 1pm (at a park or commercial job)? Maybe I am just missing something...

Thank you, Stephen

Hey Jupiter Bounce,

It's better to make these changes manually. The auto-load is really just to get everything on your schedule so you can get a visual idea of the workload for that day. Once everything is on the timeline....tweek everything as need. Combine jobs into less trucks. Make the park pickups on time....etc. Don't use the auto-load as your final delivery scheduler.

Great ideas Ken! That's what we do now, we never use the auto load button. You have to figure the point of the feature is not just to move them from left to right... I imagine the ultimate goal is to streamline the process and one day actually "auto load" the deliveries.

Yes, if it could do that...it would save tons of time. Especially now during busy season.

Thats the main reason why the router is not useful to someone in my market where about 20-30% of our clients are park/commercial.

If you have a certain event (like ones at a park) that most be handled by a certain time, you can set the Delivery Window on the Contract tab. The Auto-load will respect those times.

The return to the warehouse is an awesome feature that I am super excited to use but without it printing on the grouped delivery page it creates an additional step- we still have to remind our guys.

Any chance you can get it to show up on the printout of the vehicle packing list??

We've added 'Return to Warehouse' to the vehicle packing list.

It would be great to add on each Packing list page to show clearly if it's Delivery or Pickup, not just on the Itinerary.

Also, for the names of the workers assigned to the vehicle to be printed out on the itinerary.

Also, if you could add start time for the worker to come in at on the itinerary, because if you print them out a few days before the workers are looking at them and trying to figure out what time to come in to the warehouse.

Great post Thor!

I agree it would be nice it the return (pick up) packing lists clearly said "pick up" or "Delivery"

I understand that we are simply reprinting the Drop Off packing list but it would be cool if when we selected print return packing list it changed the word drop off to "Pick ups"

I don't know if this helps but I have custized my packing lists to both the delivery times and the pickup times.

I'm sure they'll find that helpful, Ken. Thanks. I know Thor was trying to get more info on the "Itinerary" page that has the directions (start driving to ___ address. Setup for 45 mins... ect).

I've got some tasks in our product development system on the topics brought up in this thread.
