We need auto reminder emails sent to quotes prior to the anticipated event date...

We asked about this before and were told that auto-reminder emails only go out on customer generated quotes. This has been, and continues to be, problematic. We send a quote...customer mails a check, we never get it, they call the day of the event wondering where we are. We go back and forth with customer, customer is irate etc

We send out 2000+ quotes annually and cannot manually call back every one that isn't turned into an event. We'd like an auto email sent 3 days before the event so the customer knows we don't have the deposit. How can this be done??

There are also recent quote emails that go out for administrative created quotes. There are two of them...one looks like it was just possibly turned on because it started sending them out today? There is another one as well that isn't active. You may want to also send this one out--just change it to 3 days before and make active.

Yes, we see that these were added at some point since we last asked. But when I look at the settings, my options are to send "x days since last lead" not "x days before the possible event". Am I missing something?

Alternately, I dont mind making 5 or 6 of those same emails to send 5 days since quote, 10 days, 15 etc...

But will they still keep sending after the event date has passed?

You can set up several with the days sent quote settings...the last one the system will allow to go out if there's at least 3 days until the event date.

To clarify, regardless of the "# of days since last lead" we set, it will not go out if the event is less than 3 days away, or has passed?

Correct, so no matter how many you set up it won't send them if there's not at least 3 days to the event date on the quote....or if it has passed
