Staffing Text Messages

Our texting is working fine, but we have been faced with a weird issue.


On order 1296832 we had a delivery date of 3/2/16 and the staff got his email as he should have on 3/2/16 before his start time as we have set in the alert section.. They are only getting their 5 hour prior alert as you told me there is only 1 alert sent and i cant do a 5 hours and a 2 hours prior.


Now for the issue..

He had a pick up date of 3/7/16 and he didnt get the alert for today's part of the shift assignment.


I was assuming the 3/7/16 would be a separate text because of the date change but they didnt get a text for todays shift.


having the ability to have text sent on pick up dates is very important also..


can the text feature be fixed to send for each date we have set in the schedule section?

Greg is correct. It is the Workers module.

I signed up for the workers module and added some empolyees.


How can I send auto reminder text to their phones a few hours prior to the jobs?

This is in Settings->Email center. The worker emails/texts may be on Page 2 of the list of emails.

Can you tell me why I put myself in as a regular worker and i'm showing up as red with an a star?

That indicates the worker is already scheduled to do something at the time that shift is (a conflicting shift).

I did a testing on myself as an employee and the first time worked great.... it didn't show the the varibale *rental_packing_list* so I changed the text and have been trying for the last few hours for lead #1317999 and I have not got any text yet.

I fixed your template to give you what you want. Rental variables often need what we call the rental loop code. It's hidden code that you can only view if you toggle to source view on the editor.


The reason you haven't seen another text is probably because they are sent to go out 1 hour before the event. Also, the system will probably only send a text once per worker per lead.

i created new leads, cleared all of the worker shifts and tried differnt times and 1 hour, 2 hour variations and nothing besides that first text.

It's not sending because it checks to make sure there is an email address on the worker account. Even though it isn't needed for the Text email, it checks this for all worker emails.

Thanks. works like a charm now.


Is there anyway to get rid of this little bit of HTML coding in the text message? It wasn't there this morning and now it is..I can't figure out whats causing this

I think I've fixed the html stuff at the bottom of texts. Let me know if you get any more.
