Quantity of Items

Our setup used to prevent a customer from renting an attraction if our settings showed there were none available. For example, in most cases we have only one inflatable of a particular type, in some cases, two. But we also have several or more food equipment items like popcorn, snow cone or cotton candy machines. Recently some customers have asked accidentally for 4 inflatables and the quote came back with four even though we only had one in inventory. Our original setup had 1 only in inventory but the quote allowed more than one to be quoted, something that never used to happen. Today a cotton candy machine was ordered, showing not available in inventory, although we have four and only one was rented. It should not show up as unavailable. When I entered settings and saw the quantity had somehow defaulted to just 1, I tried to edit the quantity to show 4 and the computer would not allow it. How can I show 4 available cotton candy machines and be sure that customers can't order or get a quote for four inflatables when only one exists.

I think there may be some confusion w/ the parent/child and quantities. Is the Disney cotton candy cart and the cotton candy machine the same item? If not, how many of each item do you have?

I switched around how you had these items set up. Since there were more of one item than the other it wasn't just a simple parent/child set up. We set up the cotton candy machine as their own item as well as a mandatory accessory of the Disney Cart. This should work out better.
