I have my deposits for rentals at 50% and in custom deposit for 50% but every rental has a deposit of the total amount or 95% of the total. Why is it doing this??? I need to fix this.

You have 50% deposit set in Settings->Payment Options, you have 50% set in Settings->Customer Types, and you have 50% set on your rentals. You only need it in one place. Setting it on the rentals assumes you want an additional deposit for that rental.
