Default Date Fill In

When posting a payment is there a way to have the date default to today, with the option to change it if needed.

I am sure most of the time payments are posted as of "today" and very seldom need to be back or pre dated.

Having the option to change it would see better than forcing us to put in the date every time you enter one.

Since we decided to give the leads page an updated look (not released yet) we're waiting to add it to that new interface. This update is going to include a lot of changes that reduce the number of clicks to do things, but it's a large project that involves a lot of bug testing. We're hoping to get a preview beta out soon.

I was just informed of something I didn't know before: if you leave it blank when you save it, it will fill in today's date.

Actually, if you leave the date blank when adding a payment, it uses the current date.
