Are the total sales for an item with a child included in the items total sales or are they calculated separately?

I have an inflatable with multiple sections that I also rent out in separate pieces (a Parent item with multiple Child items). I see the sales stats for the Parent and Child items. Are those child items' sales stats included in the Parent's sales on the Stats page?

I have an Adrenaline Rush that I also rent out in separate pieces. I see the sales for the Adrenaline and for the separate pieces. Are those separate pieces included in the Adrenaline Rush sales on the Stats page?

Amounts for the "Child items" are NOT included in the "Parent item's" statistics. They are treated independently other than for conflict checking.
