Is there an easy way to show items booked for a specific time span?

There are times when we would like to restrict weekends to show all our items as being booked. Perhaps we want to take a vacation and are not going to be available. Is there an easy way to do this without it affecting our sales stats or other things. We want this to be invisible to our customers. In other words we just want to show everything as being booked, we dont want to disactivate items and have them not show up as options? Any thoughts?

In general, we recommend never showing availability to your customers. When you show availability, if something they want is unavailable, they will try the next company. If they are unsure, you have time to make the sale.
Because our system is a quoting system as opposed to a shopping cart, you have the ability to refuse or alter any quote. When you are not showing availability, you can always tell customers your items are unavailable.
However, we do have some ways to get what you want.
1) You could set your automatic email in Settings->Email Center so everyone that gets quotes to say that the items are unavailable during those dates. Then change it back after the weekend.
2) You could make a false event for the period you will be gone, select everything, and set the price to zero so it doesn't affect your sales figures. In General->Settings, you can choose to show customers availability. Then when the weekend is over, delete the event and reset the availability settings.
Hope this helps!
